Ingredients
Filling
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil or any vegetable oil
- 1 bunch Scallion Thinly sliced
- 3 pcs Chives Thinly sliced, green part
- 1 clove Garlic Minced
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 pinch Red Chili Flake
Dumpling
- 25 pcs Wonton Wrapper Circular
Meat Sauce
- 1 pc Yellow Onion Large, finely chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic Minced
- 250 grams (8.82 oz) Ground (Minced) Beef
- 250 grams (8.82 oz) Ground (Minced) Lamb
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 2 tsp Paprika Powder
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 2 tsp Ground Coriander Powder
- 1 cup Tomato Sauce
Yogurt Sauce
- 1 cup Plain Yogurt
- 2 cloves Garlic Minced
- 3 tsp Dried Mint
- ½ tsp Salt
- Fresh Mint Thinly sliced
Instructions
Filling
Heat the oil in a large pan and add chives and scallion.
Stir fry for 8-10 minutes
Add garlic and cook until light brown.
Then add salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes. Fry for a minute.
Turn the heat off and put the mixture in a bowl to cool down.
Dumpling
Take a baking sheet and grease the surface.
Take each wonton and put a teaspoon of the filling in the center.
Wet the ends of the wrapper and fold in half and seal. Line these dumplings on the greased baking sheet.
Make sure there are no air pockets inside.
Now take a large pot, boil water in it.
Cook the dumplings in boiling water in batches.
Lower heat while cooking, it will take 2-3minutes to cook completely.
Remove with a slotted spoon.
Meat Sauce
Heat oil in a pan and fry onions until golden brown.
Then add minced garlic and fry for a minute.
Add the ground meat, salt, pepper, paprika, and coriander powder.
Cook meat until its soft and the color change to brown.
Add the tomato sauce and cook until thick.
Yogurt Sauce
In a bowl, mix the yogurt, mint powder, and salt.
Garnish with fresh mint.
