Welcome to Ocean Mile J-7!

This charmingly rustic 1BR/1BA townhome, Ocean Mile # J-7 is your beach home away from home, decorated in natural woods and turquoise hues. As a pet-friendly property, up to 2 well-behaved medium size dogs are welcome (additional pet fee and advance approval required).

Just left of the main entrance, the master bedroom offers a King sized bed with access onto a private balcony with views of the Gulf of Mexico and the Apalachicola Bay. The master bedroom also provides privacy from the main living room and a flat panel TV for your convenience. A full bathroom with tub/shower combination and linen closet is located just outside of the bedroom.

Downstairs you will find the main living area. The equipped kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare your fresh catch and offers a dedicated food storage panty. A dining table and additional bar stool seating offer plenty of room for a casual meal or can double as a workspace. A convenient washer/dryer is also available for your use.

A Queen sleeper sofa provides additional sleeping room for up to 2 additional guests when needed, with plenty of seating to accommodate everyone. A large, flat panel TV and DVD player will keep you entertained on any rainy days or break out a boardgame or beach read! A cozy electric fireplace adds to the rustic charm of the townhome. The poolside deck with high top table offers views of the community pool and the Gulf of Mexico waters.

A short 60 second walk will get your toes in the sand by way of the convenient community boardwalk. Additional community amenities include a grilling area with 4 park-style BBQ grills and two community pools with lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas.

The paved bike path is easily accessible from the 300 Ocean Mile townhome community and will lead you to the Island center where you can enjoy local gift shops and restaurants OR to the nearby State Park -- definitely a must see! Parking for up to 2 vehicles is available underneath the townhome and an initial set of stairs will take you to the front entrance of J-7.

Very nice, clean rental condo. Perfect for our 6 year old and our 40 pound dog. Great location, minutes walk from the beach. On the East end of the island just a short bike ride to the park.

We extended a week long stay with family with five days at 300 Ocean Mile,
Apt. J7. The unit was great for the two of us to relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. This well maintained property was clean and as described. Forgotton Shores Properties provided great service as usual. The Blue Parrott and BJ’s were once again great eat out options. We have stayed at Ocean Mile condos many times through the years with much satisfaction.

On the far east end of St. George Island, it was the perfect get away from it all spot. The apartment was clean, smelled fresh, with everything in working order. It felt like we were in the middlem of a reno though. Part of the place was country cabin feel with the rustic wood and tin wall. Then there's the hammerhead shark coming out the wall and the large ocean life mueral.
We opted for the free beach gear and got 2 bikes. Road the bikes down to the state park, so beautiful.
Next time we'll bring our black lab, since the island is so pet friendly.

Overall we had a great time. Unfortunately there were several families that were vacationing together who were all around us. The pool, grills, and beach were taken over with kids, pets, and smoking. Also noticed that they had dogs in condos that did not allow pets. The weekend was not as quiet as we hoped. We loved our townhome , and weather was great. We would stay again.

Clean, comfortable unit close to the pool & beach. We love doing puzzles and this unit had the perfect table. Also, there's an electric fireplace for those chilly nights. 300 OM has been our go-to spot for several years because of it's proximity to the park & the quiet end of the beach. Would definitely recommend this unit, especially, for the price.
